Trevor Lee Write Up
This 6’ 290lbs DL out of William Penn/York High can be described in one word as dominant. In the trenches, Trevor shows on film his explosion via his get off and ability to gain control of opposing offensive linemen. What is additionally impressive is his ability to lock out, find the ball carrier, shed, and go make the tackle.
In his junior campaign due to needs from a young Bearcats team, Lee was needed more on the offensive end than used on the defensive end. This did not stop him from making a tremendous impact when he was on the field defensively. Playing in two full games defensively and in sprinkled situations throughout the year, Lee still managed to have an impact on games making 22 tackles, 6 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles from the interior of the defensive line. As the Bearcats mature this upcoming fall, look to see more of this All-YAIAA player on the defensive side in his senior campaign.
In the weight room, Lee shows why he can move opponents off their mark by being a 500lbs Squatter, Benching 350lbs and Power Cleaning over 275lbs. Seeing him in person move, you can tell he doesn’t just focus on the weights but works his agilities and plyometrics for overall athletic ability. His work ethic and the way he approaches a workout is what you’re looking for as a college coach. This captain proves why he was honored with the title as he sets the standard and holds everyone to the expectation to match his energy throughout the group.
Trevor is a sleeper DL in South Central PA that needs a solid look from every college coach in the market for a stout DL. Expect to see Lee gain more interest as camp season progresses and for him to make a bigger name in the YAIAA.
